I had to go with Heavy/Trad metal.
Although I enjoy gloomy doomy music such as Manson, Alice In Chains, etc
And I do enjoy thrashier music such as Slayer, Megadeth, Arch Enemy, etc
I find myself always coming back to listen to music such as Dio, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Halford, Blaze...etc |

Heavy/traditional.
Power metal would be second.
If I ever buy any orchestral, I have a feeling I'd like that as well. _________________ Sit on it, Potsie. |

Traditional/ General Heavy metal does it for me.
I like Thrash acts like Metallica, flotsam and jetsam and at times slayer.
But most of the time I'm listening to acts like Black Sabbath, DIO, W.A.S.P., Judas Priest, Dokken and Yngiwe J Malmsteen's Rising Force. |

I think...everybody has the same sort of opinion regarding Dance of Death...I do like it....but maybe just a little over cooked in the studio |

I hope this doesn't get me banned from the forum but I like to listen to the sounds of the forest cd and similar stuff, you know the type where they have just natural sounds and no instruments.I also have one of thunder ,lightning and rain which gets me to sleep every night.
If I am driving in the daytime I like Dio/Sabbath/Floyd/Mike oldfield/Magnum . Driving at night I like classic FM (English radio station)
To wake me up in the morning anything by Motorhead will suffice.
My vote was for progressive metal btw _________________ The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win you are still a rat. |

Ok, who picked the tile for Black Metal for Tuberkulose? I know I didn't win the pool because I really thought she would pick other and say Elton John.
As for me I may lean towards other in that a little of everything although since I started burning back down to CDs mostly traditional but largely because I am still at the B's and ended with Sabbath. I have listened to Bathory from ages ago while riding the train though.
Fuck ... do do, do do, do do, do ... deja vu. Didn't we already have this poll because I swear I said the same fucking thing about Bathory already. But anyway what the fuck category do they go in? It is all metal to me. Some harder than others. Some lighter than others. Some for rainy days. Some for why the fuck won't these people keep some space around each other and not bunch up like a bunch of cows. I mean look at them ... moooooo. _________________ Smacks & Manly Thumps,
