Okay so I was a little harsh on the song SH. Ronnie's vocals are great, the lyrics are good, but man, the keyboards...ugh!
I do like King of R&R. That's pretty good. I forgot that that song was on that cd.
I'm still working on the rest....

| Cannot stand Sunset Superman - The verses are OK, it speeds along well but the Chorus is crap - just plods, the lyrics as well are so unDio like. |

For me I'd have to say all of Angry Machines. I bought it, listened to it a few times and just couldn't get into it. I'd loved Strange Highways, so I didn't know how I didn't like this. Then a few months later I gave it a try and found some songs that weren't as bad as I remembered. Then I played it a few more times and now I wouldn't say there is a song that I dislike on it. It still isn't one of my favourite albums but I still listen to it more than Sacred Heart.
For me Sacred Heart has songs that I really enjoy when I'm listening to them, but I never get the urge to play the album.
Shoot Shoot is a song that I never liked, then (for a reason I've yet to discover!!) it got played at a party I was at that I'd brought Sacred Heart to and I thought I was warming up to it for a while after that... but nope... I can listen to it, but I wouldn't say I like it.
Do You Close Your Eyes as well. The guitar tone just grates on my nerves and I'm not keen on Ronnie's vocals in the chorus, nor the melody of the song. |

That line really did make me laugh out loud.
As I listen to Rising, I really have to wonder why he would write "Do you close your eyes." I mean, that song, then Stargazer?? They just don't go together.
No disrespect to Wendy...But Ronnie is such a cutie and only gets better with age. Why would he even think to write something so silly??
I don't think I will ever warm up to that one...

You were right about the tital track. I love it now. I don't when he says, "Attack!" at the end because I don't think it fits, but it's a really great song.
As far as the rest of it, I'm still working on it...I don't think I will ever like Shoot Shoot. I mean, next to Shame on the night it's like, "what is this?" But lucky for us there is a ton of RJD music out there. We don't have to love every song.
