| Rising Force, Odyssey, Trilogy, Eclipse, Inspiration, they're all amazing. Malmsteen is a genius. |

They maybe pricks but they're no Lars Ulrichs. People can do whatever they like, if it were a goody goody be nice ti everyone kind of world, where would the fun be? , exactly. I am happy to say that I could slap anyone who disses DIO. Then again what kind of a DIO fan wouldn't defend the honour of the gods? I know I'm insane...

My brother is a huge fan of Yngwie.
I think he must have a crush on him or so, to be able to talk about him every day..

| it really does sound like power metal but I don't think shred is part of power metal, he says his music is a form of neo classical. Neo classical metal, if it exists. well his instrumental stuff is that but his stuff with singers is very power metalish. |

Dio, power metal, that's like shoving RJD in Dragonforce, scary!
I'm not denying Yngwie is power metal but I'm not saying it is either, I'm saying he sounds power metalish, I'm a sucker for instrumental stuff... |

Well, not to be too intrusive or creepy, you have a cool taste in music...just sayin'
I like Yngwie...I really like Odyssey (with JLT)...but his stuff is Power Metal...nothing really in common with Black Metal...
And in tems with your brother...maybe it's harmless |
I'm just glad the time when my brother gave me gifts like "The Yngwie Malmsteen Collection" is over. He really tried to make me listen to it of free will. He never manged to do it, though.
tems?
anyway, I'll leave him alone, and he'll leave me alone. That's how it goes. (Exept when he takes me to concerts that I couldn't enter without a "guardian" or whatever you call it. That's probably the real reason why I don't comment his taste in music... I can live with a little Yngwie if it gives me the opportunity to go to a concert with a band I like) _________________ I en svart kiste. Mother North. |

I think Yngwie could of had a great band . I thought the song
"rising force " was great . The thing is he had a lot of great ballads.
But he messed them up . He should take notice from Ritchie on how to play a ballad lead . When you have slow soft songs you dont go crazy on the solo. It doesnt fit the songs . I think this was a reason why Yngwie wasnt more popular for his songs . It's a bit dissapointing as the guy does have talent . |

| The whole Odyssey album is great, and JLT does the vocals very well on that album. Favourites: Deja Vu, Rising Force, Dreaming. |

That must be compared to other singers for Yngwie, right?
If you could say that any of Yngwie Malmsteens vocalist did a good job, it can only be compared to the ones who _REALLY_ couldn't sing... _________________ I en svart kiste. Mother North. |
