So...I hear they won best band of the year???
That's great...I love Whitesnake (though Dio should have got it)...anyway...I haven't listened to Whitesnake for a long time but I do own their self titled album along with a best of CD... 
Anyone else a fan?! |

You will find quite a few Whitesnake fans in here including myself. While I think that their Self-titled and subsequent album Slip of the Tongue are some of the best "hair metal" out there, they are Whitesnake's two worst albums.
If you want to hear what I like to call the "real" Whitesnake, check out their earlier stuff like "Come and Get it", "Ready an Willing" or one of my personal favorites "Love Hunter".

Yes...I keep hearing good things about the early stuff...though Katie and I like the hair-metal Whitesnake (we dressed like them for halloween)  |

I have everything recorded by Whitesnake....its years since....I listen to hair metal stuff....Love Hunter,Ready and Willing, Come an' Get it,Ain't No love in the heart of the city, are pure class...the only good stuff DC has done in the modern era is ''Into the Light''
Maybe when you have listen to these...then I will talk about Whitesnake. |

My mate has a Thin Lizzy tribute band...they get that as well...

We played "Here I Go Again" (as it "sorta" fit in with our set)...it was really funny. |
