Battle Metal!

A fusion of Pagan black metal and folk. Tells stories of Viking wars, drinking songs, battles etc. Highly bombastic, extremely uplifting, full choir, violin and accordion players on a mission, - just plain GREAT! The battle horns and such mean you can picture it all in your mind. It's just amazingly powerful stuff. Currently £7.99 on Amazon too!

Here's a link to their MySpace, but the songs on here aren't actually the best ones - greater things await on the album!

I'm seeing Lordi on 29th October - and these are the support!!! 2 great bands for £10!!! \m/

Love Turisas.... what i would give to be able to go to one of their concerts and drink it up.

Both the full-length album and the Demo/EP are great,

My favorites:
Those were the Days
Sahti-Waari
The Land of Hope and Glory
One More
Battle Metal

.... fuck it, all their songs kick ass.

I don't mind - it would have been worth it at Amazon's full price.

But out of interest - where from?

Whoa - there's some bloody good prices there. I'm just not very trusting of sellers who aren't big names - I'm (possibly too) wary of them! I ususally only use Amazon, The Freak Emporium(great for obscure stuff), and HMV (as a last resort Wink)

I have used many ebay sellers in USA and all over Europe...never had any problems buying.
Becoz the rate of the pound is so good...we get good prices...but if you are buying from USA...make sure you don't go over £8...becoz you will pay extra tax.One cd at a time from USA...beats the taxman! Wink

Some older SIEBENBURGEN cds....price each £2.68
these are brand new and not copies...they are bought in Eastern Europe and so thats why they are cheap in UK!

As I said Coop...I should get my order asap...I will let you know...what I think....but the feed back for this seller is good.
I not sure about using Amazon as much since they moved jobs out to India and customer service is from India...now.

I am out of here....take care and speak soon!
Thanx for the info on the band...will check them out during hours of daylight and when I can turn the sound up! Wink

I wasn't aware that was the case, but then again, I've only ever had one (small) problem, and because I told them I got a £5 off next order. As far as I'm concerned, if it beats going to HMV and being disappointed every time with what they have on the shelves - it can't be bad!
