Hey guys
I have a new demo song with my band BURN. We recorded it here in my house, and I did the mixing and producing. The song is called Hard Rock Las Vegas.
The singer has written the lyrics, it's a kind of 'tribute' to John Entwistle, who was the bass player of The Who. The song is written by ourselves.
Enjoy it, and please post here your comments and thoughts about the song!

Neat...I love the album Burn!
I took the name of my band from Ritchie's intended band name when he left Deep Purple (Rainbow Moon)...but record lables forced him to call it Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow...no matter I got a name out of it...  |

No...well...not yet...I'm trying to make one...
My band probably sounds nothing like yours...I sorta sing (and look) like Joe Lynn Turner...so you can imagine...plus we do quite a few Rainbow covers... |

yes...all too true...I've sang stuff like I Surrender, Stone Cold, Death Alley Driver...I unfortunally can't really get anything up and running because I'm constantly replacing people...I'm the only one left of the original 5 band members...I mean the only real reasons I sing those kind of songs is the places we've preformed at...there were, how I say, lots of young kids...so I adjusted...'cause all I wanna do is sing...they had their stupid morrals and crap...so one by one I replaced them! Whole new line up, though there's still an issue of how I sing and my image...it's all bullshit really...anyway...i suppose I am... |

Yeah, we were without a drummer for a long time. So I did the drums with my electronic drumset. Sounds pretty good though, if you realize it's recorded and mixed in my bedroom
Yesterday we had a very good drummer on audition, so gladly, we found one!!! After months of waiting, searching, and bad drummers on audition...

But I don't think we are the next After Forever. We are more Hard Rock/Classic Metal, so. But thnx for the tip, Gary!
We have an old demo, recorded in april 2004. I won't let you hear it, cause this new one is much better (quality, etc.)...

We already have a singer.
That's me. 
Some people think my voice sounds a bit like Danzig:

(last one sounds most like me I'd say)
And I have the same muscular build as well.
I always thought my voice wasn't fit for metal, and that I should sound like DIO, JLT... So I tried to imitate that and started shouting, trying to get louder.
But then found my real voice. That's much softer and laid back. There are already too many "imitators" (no offense to anyone who can sound like DIO or JLT! bloody awesome job if you can!).
But many people think that metal should have the standard grunge or shouting voice, because "that's the way it's done". So when people say I don't have the voice for metal... I say they don't have the ears for metal.
