Heres #5 in my series of "vs" polls, I won't stop until every single album Ronnie has done has been covered. This week, it's Dream Evil- (an amazing album comparable to Holy Diver or Last in Line) vs. Killing the Dragon (usualy called the big comeback album of DIO, debuting at #199 on the billboard 200 after 15 years of not being on it)
Lets have some great discussion on these 2 albums. I apologize for any insults ive said to anyone, and I want a fresh start here- please forgive me 
Here is what i think of these 2 albums. Dream Evil is solid from beginning to end, with one AMAZING song "all the fools sailed away" which is easiy in the top-5 greatest DIO songs of all time, including Rainbow and Sabbath. Other great songs include "I could have been a dreamer" which made it to the Top 50 billboard Rock chart, and "Sunset Supeman". Overall I think it can compare to Holy Diver and Last in Line as far as quality- (I think Sacred Heart is the greatest if you didnt know  )
Now, Killing the Dragon- the comback album for DIO as far as sales and chart positions. But how is it musically?? Fast and Hard baby! Killing is easily one of the best DIO albums of the 90's, right behind Magica in my opinion. From start to finish ir rocks, except for a couple of forgetable tracks. Overall it can compare to Dehumanizer (if it was faster) as far as quality.
These 2 albums are both great in my opinion, but my vote goes to Dream Evil

Oh, they're two great albums... I think that my vote is for "Dream Evil", anyways I love "Killing The Dragon" as much as I love "Dream Evil"...

Easy this one...Dream Evil is better
Now I better word this carefully.... 
I have seen Doug play 4 times now....and he is a great guitar player...but the reason I don't like Killing the Dragon...is really down to the sound...its very light...the tempo is there and the songs are great...but I just wish the guitar had a more heavier sound.  |

| Dream Evil is one of the weakest Dio albums. The songs don't flow well, the keyboards are way too prominent, guitar work is questionable. I'll take Killing the Dragon. |

Dream Evil will always have the advantage as it carries a lot of nostalgia for everybody. People have known it longer and loved it longer. Killing The Dragon is also a good album but you never forget your first girlfriend. I vote for Dream Evil.
Fresh starts are not a problem. Welcome aboard.
