Here it is, #3 "Vs" poll- this time is Ranbow vs. Sab. Now, anyone out their who bad-mouths me for putting these albums together doesnt know their history- because I was when Long Live came out, and about 15ish when Heaven and Hell came out- and me and my pizano's would always compare these two albums for hours while doin' a little reef
Anyways, enjoy! _________________ "And we'll find the Sacred Heart... somewhere bleeding in the night" |

| ...Ronnie's last studio release with Rainbow up against his first realease with Sabbath...makes sense...when I was 15 all I would listen to was Rainbow or Sabbath...with very few exceptions...anyway...Heaven & Hell remains the closest to my heart...but both albums are amazing...I dont see how you could really say that one is better than the other...I choose H & H out of sentimental memories...but musically...it's a toss up... |

| I think H&H is way better. LLRNR was kind of a let down. There are some excellent tracks, like Gates Of Babylon and Rainbow Eyes. But it can't match up to H&H. |

I think it was a let-down after Rising. I never cared for LA Connection or the title track or The Shed. I think its the least of the three Ronnie-Rainbow albums, even though the band backing Ronnie and Ritchie is better than on the debut. There are good songs there. I love Gates of Babylon and Kill The King and Rainbow Eyes, but I have no problem making a value judgement between albums. And this one just can't match up to Heaven & Hell. No shame in that, really. |

| ...Rising was a very tough one to follow!...I dont see how they could have surpassed it...I always try to seperate my viewpoints when it comes to Ronnie's work from seperate time periods or bands...It is difficult when you start comparing it...because different albums contain their own specific attributes...I like one song on this album & one on that other...you know what I mean?...Take for Instance The Lady StarStuck & Lady Evil...I would really hate to choose! |

Heaven and Hell
By far and away the better album both musically and lyrically.
"The Gates Of Babylon" is the only stand out track on LLR&R whereas all 8 tracks on H&H are pure class.
