...the German Accent is very hard to decipher...I met Doro once...I was standing outside a theatre in Cleveland just prior to a DIO show that she was opening for...that I decided to go to last minute freezing my ass off!...Her bus pulled up & she chose me and a buddy of mine to be on her guest list...we walked Rite in with her crew & it was kind of hard to understand her when she spoke...All I know is that she can sing like Hell & she is one Beautiful girl!...Anyway...I can see why many would vote for KISS's stage show...But I still think Maiden Has gave them a Run for their money in the past...DIO TOO!

I voted for KISS even though I prefer listening to Iron Maiden.
I've seen them both in concert. Iron Maiden gives a great performance, but KISS makes you feel like you have left this Earth.
I felt like I was on drugs at the last KISS show I saw even though I was 100% straight. That says it all in terms of the "show". |

I just don't see how these 2 bands can be compared. Two completely different sounds. I respect Kiss. They have made some incredible music over the years, not to mention the influence they've had on many other bands. However, I MUST choose Maiden. Aside from DIO, Maiden cannot be touched IMO. Imagine metal without Killers, Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Powerslave, etc. etc. etc............
