Oh, and an apology to the originator of this thread for the hi-jacking of it.

However, I stand by my original comment. If you have left your band because they won't play/don't like Dio's music, take a step back and think about why you got together in the first place. Was it to play "covers" of other tracks or to specifically play RJD?? If it was the former, bow with the blow and bend with the breeze. It's not worth sacrificing friendship over, it's only music!!

Well, I don't hold that against you... To be honest, I really was "recomended" to the band by my friend. They promised me I'd get to choose a cover for them to do and in the end, they changed their mind and I left in frustration half way threw the album. I'd rather do things my own way than answer to a bunch of people I don't care for. Ronnie himself said;
"A band needs to be a democracy with a dictator. Someone needs to finalize everything at the end of the day, otherwise it'll turn into an I don't know band. And I don't know bands go nowhere!"
That band was an "I don't know band" and they'll never go anywhere.

That's a very fair comment, and your reaction is understandable. However, your comments here did not come across in your original post, hence my opening comments.

Your right, I did the same thing with my Anti-Ozzy rant. Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm off "in the rainbow".

You are free to voice your opinion, but all I am saying to you,is there will be no fighting on this forum,no name calling,we have had it in the past for years and it will no longer be allowed to happen. So forgive me for being a bit defensive .
Just be happy I did not have my finger on the trigger of a gun Laughing
Catch you later Cool
Now back on Topic.......... Exclamation

So being asked is I am in receipt of FEMA assistance or whether FEMA are still paying my rent doesn't rate as "rude" in you book?

Just a question..................

So Sentinel, what other name do you use on this board?

Remember this is international board.

We watch Monty Python! Give us dumb yankees more credit! Laughing

Don't give him credit, he is always playing with Uranus. Unless you like that sort of thing because then it would not be rude.

I will go first. I am not The Sentinel. Do you wish to state that you are not The Sentinel Art? We then would have eliminated two. Who else is not The Sentinel?

I would certainly hope that if I were in a disaster area that FEMA would pay something of mine. I do pay taxes.

And I must add that the title of the thread is a tad ironic to the current nature of this thread.

Don't worry to much about The Sentinel,
He's somewhere in England,I could give you the location but I don't know if I am allowed to do that.
If he starts talking to himself in a thread,I will let you know.

...NOT near serious ENOUGH!...Well, Then Again...That would depend upon the Band...If your Motley Crue...Then I would stick to the most Important issues in life...Being Boobs, Bikes & Beer!... Cool Laughing ...Now if Your Ronnie James Dio...I would use the Metaphors Full Tilt to Really assault all that is F**KED UP, Forsaken, & to Expose those Responsible for the worthless C**K S**KERS they are!!!...Once Again...Kick Ass & Take Their NAMES!...If a certain Race of people or Creed are having an obvious Negative, Dangerous Reaction/Impact...or even pose a Threat to society...Give'M HELL!!!...Dont even Consider being PC!... Twisted Evil ...& If a certain faction...or say for Instance a certain Genre of Music/Media is CRAP...& selling America Crap...Feed them to the Wolves!...It's time for Public EXECUTIONS MAN!...Heavy Metal should Band Together in General for One specific cause After Another... Twisted Evil ...& if some Sissy ass politician is Gray or "on the fence" & avoiding extremely important issues...Lite their Asses ON FIRE...Call them out!!!...Then Hang'EM HIGH!!! ... Idea
