I don't know if this has been discussed before on this board but I recently viewed the Black Sabbath performance from 1992 at the Beacon Theater in NYC and it was incredible.
This is an audience shot video from what appears to be front and center on the balcony and it is amazing. The sound is really good too. This must be the best DVD of the Dehumanizer tour out there.
I have also seen the Oakland DVD from that tour and it isn't bad but the Beacon show is even better.
Hunt this one down if you haven't seen it. I think it is better than Black and Blue, or at least just as good. My only complaint is it could have had a bit more Geezer screen time. |

Hmm, that one I haven't seen, is this available on dvd? Is it a
bootleg?
I have seen 5 other filmed concerts form that tour:
From Monsters of Rock in Italy, 92 (Professionally filmed (by MTV??))
From Sacramento (audience shot)
2 shows from Brazil, both appears to be professionally filmed
And the Costa Mesa show with Rob Halford on vocals (audience shot) |

Its amazing in the modern age....the public is becoming the new media...with live events from concerts to news events all being filmed by us....what I am getting at....lots of news tv channels now use footage made by the public....you see it all the time now,why don't the record companies do the same...if the footage is good,then they could pay the person who filmed it,maybe cut down on bootlegs,....just a thought 
I don't know the costs for a full production ''live'' dvd,but I am sure its a lot cheaper to pay fans who have also recorded the event for there own personal use. |

Just watched this yesterday, by chance. It's a great performance. I still think its silly for Dio-Sabbath to waste time singing Paranoid and Iron Man, but whatever.
I wish there was a pro-shot recording with great sound. This is an okay boot, but nowhere near as good as a pro-release, unfortunately. |

True but it is the best audience Dio Sabbath DVD I have seen so far. |

Perhaps this could be under the true confession thread as well, but I admit that I have never, ever in my life seen Black Sabbath perform, in any incarnation, either live or on video. I have quite a few albums, but I'm not even sure what most of them look like.
I am shamed.
