You think people would eventually grow up and drop these conspiracy theories.
Playing records backwards was a marketing ploy to get people to ruin their records to buy another record. A record played backwards simply says ghagpa'gaghag;aga;'agaaga;gjagj'ag and nothing more. And yes I have heard people run these things backwards.
But hey religiously logical thinking people will do as any conspiracy theorists tell you that well that is just a cover up. Satan does not want you to know he exists and he just does that to fool you.
Quit the dualism implications. Crowley was a man who was initiated into the Golden Dawn (have their book) and when they split he formed his own group to carry on where they left off. He traveled to the East learned of eastern mysticism, eventually became involved in Egyptian panthology and entered into another order, OTO. He loved the hype thrown at him.
Anton LaVey started the Church of Satan in the late 60s or there abouts. Crowley had been dead for quite some time. The First Church of Satan, Satanic Church, Satanic Church of America simply known as The Church of Satan was/is in San Francisco.

Now is the alleged branch really affiliated with the Church of Satan? They keep their books secret to non members. This protects the privacy of those individuals who could if revealed to the general public be persecuted for their affiliation. As an atheist I understand that but by that secretiveness I can see the Bible Thumpers using it as JFK conspirators used the Kennedies demand to keep the medical records private to hide the fact that JFK was on drugs for his chronic back ailments that that privacy was proof there were more than one gunmen. BUT if you perform any illegal activities you will get the boot from the Church of Satan so last I looked I don't think human sacrifice was legal in either the US or the UK.

The Church of Satan had a rift I think several decades ago with its members and those that split formed the Temple of Set. They were not happy with Anton's leadership to which to my understanding was that he did this as a lark at first to garner attention. Both sides have their opinions on the split that differ.
As for rock music I find it funny how Satan always targets hard rock and metal in particular. I guess that is proof that Satan is less powerful than God and would not target commercial music that has more appeal to a wider based audience.
But one would actually think if this REAL Satan existed that he would not go for music which changes to the whim of many people's tastes but would say take an original faith and form offshoots of it saying we are the REAL faith and all the others are worshipping falsely. He would not create something that is completely in the opposite but something that is similar. Such as Waco, Texas. This REAL Satan would get others to move away from the original faith into believing there was this duality of good and evil that existed outside of Man and that Man is born into Sin and thus needs a mediator to be saved and not simply has the capability of doing good and evil and one could already repent directly to God and do reparations for these Sins committed and have a day of sacrifice that appeases those sins which were unknowingly committed, he would lead one astray to believe that God is not a Uniqueness and a Oneness but was in many forms and one needed a mediator to go to Him, He would use the many emotions that humans have against themselves, etc. But most of all he would still be just a title given to the District Attorney of God to root out the unrighteous with the full authority of this Oneness while Man simply chooses right or wrong.

I think that it is sad that it would be taboo. Anton's Church of Satan does not worship an actual deity. Satan is symbolic. The Satanic Bible is more or less a humanist approach to life. Whereas when Dr Aquino broke off and formed the Temple of Set they actually worship a deity. That was the difference between the two. Anton took the deity part to a campy type show but that is not what it is about. No human or animal sacrifices.
But then to every Christian and/or Muslim what is not of their own faith is satanic.
I do concur with Bildo. Ronnie has sold his sole several times. I buy mine usually at Pay Less. I mean why spend 200 dollars for a sole when I can get one for 20 bucks at Pay Less and last me just as long if not longer. So the buck in your sole is not always indicative of what kind of truck you can place on that sole.
