Uhhh, you are way off. Sharon totally sabotaged Maiden's set and ripped of the fans who piad good money to see Iron Maiden in Devore. If Sharon had a problem with Bruce she should have taken it up backstage with him, but not she has to act like a four year old and throw eggs at a legendary band. |
Don't even get me started on that slut Sharon!! Bruce Dckinson became a legend that day and reacted w/pure class! \m/\m/ Irons UP forever! |

I can listen to Ozzy and Dio. I can also acknowledge that Ozzy is a zombie right now whose strings are being pulled by the puppet master Sharon. But there is a big difference between the two, RJD always writes his lyrics, Ozzy never does.

Me too. That was the last straw. Maiden is my favorite band along with DIO, and they did not deserve to be disrespected like that. |

I think Maiden is a cool band. But i thought it was pretty stupid to redicule OZZY at OZZfest! c'mon the whole tour is a tribute to the Ozzman!

OK guys, can someone please explain to me why there seems to be so much snobbery when it comes to Ronnie compared to Ozzy? Seems as if being an Ozzy fan, as I am, makes you a second-class citizen on here. OK Ronnie has a better voice and isn't as screwed up, but those comparisons can be applied to the vast majority of metal and rock singers.
I very much doubt Ozzy had anything to do with the Maiden incident. That is very likely to be all down to Sharon and the rest of the clan. But we're talking about Ozzy himself, not his family.
It just all seems so out of proportion, all this negativity towards Ozzy!!!

...I'm hearing that the rest of the blokes in Maiden apologized for Bruce's comments...Does anyone know what Bruce said on stage about Ozzy?...& if so were his comments un-true?...regardless...Sharon's stunt to have the whole band pelted with eggs & Attempting to ruin their set was the Ultimate in Low class & completely UN-Forgivable!...  |

| Bruce was complaining about the crappy sound system, and kept promising the one on the next Maiden tour would be hundreds of times better, and he was right, the sound system for ozzfest wasn't all that great. Sharon is a bitch though, and because of her I will never buy another cd that Ozzy was involved with. |

Oh you'll get over it-I know how you feel...you see awhile ago my "band-if you could call it that" Twilight played infront of most of my school-we played three songs; Minstrel Hall, Rainbow Eyes and Renaissance Faire (providing the singing/violin was my friend, who is also named Candice-there was also "Max" who provided the flute-he's in my music class). The people clapped for the most part, but there was a lot of "aftermath" with doing something like that (especially Rainbow Eyes-you can't say the word rainbow anywhere) they expected me to play the same shit they did and ridiculed me for it! What I'm really trying to get at here is I didn't let it get to me-I love renaissance music and I never will stop. If you like Ozzy, you shouldn't let a bunch of people get in your way, dragging you down-Ozzy's a great singer, so is Ronnie, I don't think Ozzy hates Ronnie anymore and I don't disown Ozzy for ridiculing Ronnie, Ozzy is a stoned out freak and Ronnie lookes great for someone in his 60's! |
