Nevermet has joined forces with Music for Good, now you have the option to buy Individual songs from Virtual Insanity, and Half the proceeds go to the Fender Music Foundation. The price is set, (we have no control over it) at $1.29 per song, So for anyone who has not bought the album, and would still want to, you can help out others by doing so. to download all 8 songs its a little over $10, not a bank breaker, So dig deep, and help us support a good cause! www.reverbnation.com/nevermet _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

As with my solo stuff I like to give the story behind a song from time to time, so here goes
Check out So Far Away by Nevermet The story behind this particular song is kind of funny, During the Recording of the Virtual Insanity album, Our Guitar player Jonathan (Guitar God) Crosby, got a Divorce, No thats not the funny part. actually he was pretty depressed at the time, and it slowed the production almost to halt while he was pulling himself together. When people go through a Divorce they are usually hurting and want to scream from the mountain top, but are forced to play nice, because there are kids, and assetts involved.. So I decided that I was going to Scream from the Mountain Top for him, and wrote So Far Away. I dont know his Ex personally, and I'm sure she is a very nice lady, so to her I want to say its all in good fun, but I obviously took Jonathan's side in the song.
Jonathan is now married again and seems to be happy, I believe his ex is as well, so in the end it was probably all for the best, and I got a great song out of it!! Lol, thats the funny part!
Remember you can purchase this song as well as the rest of the album giving half of the proceeds to the Fender Music Foundation at www.reverbnation.com/nevermet _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Three years ago on May 16th we lost one of the most talented vocalists of all time. Ronnie James Dio's voice was more than just good, it touched people on a higher level. his fans continue to keep his music alive, with the passion and conviction that Ronnie intended while writing it. When Ronnie Died Nevermet wanted to show our respect for the man by covering one of my favorite Dio songs, I Could Have Been A Dreamer. From now through the 16th the song will be available for free at the Nevermet Reverbnation page. follow the link and add it to your music library. Its a great fan rendition, we tried to keep it fun and hope Ronnie approves! http://www.reverbnation.com/nevermet/song/14837750-i-could-have-been-a-dreamer _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web
