We miss you Ronnie. Rest in Peace. We won't let your memory die. You Live in our heart. My children know your music and I hope they pass it on to their children. You are greatly missed.

We stopped to see my grandparents graves, and we got back into our vehicle to go over to see Ronnie. As soon as we got into the truck and started it "We Rock" was on XM. The song ended just as we arrived to the Court of Remembrance where Ronnie is. As we walked to his resting place we got goose bumps and the hair on our necks stood up, like we could feel Ronnie's presence. We will never forget the experience.

It feels strange knowing that we're getting close to the 2-year anniversary. Two years.. And yet, as far as I'm concerned, He's been very active (in my life but not only) and I still refuse to say "good bye." It's too.. final. The pain has subsided, but it's still there, ready to slice me apart. So many memories and so much pain, and tears that I haven't shed yet.
He does not want me to be too sad, though.. I want to celebrate Him, every day.  I listen to His music, I drive my Facebook friends crazy with my endless posts, but I also strive to behave in a good way, in a way He'd approve of. Taking the high road, and caring genuinely, as He always did. To me, this is the greatest tribute one can do, much better than so-called tribute bands.

Ronnie will live forever as long as we keep his music alive. He will always be with us. Let your children know his music and they too will help keep him alive. They will love him and do the same with their children. We can not see him, but we can hear him, love him and cherish what he has left us.
