I just wanted to say a quick hello to all of you wonderful Dio fans from all over the world! Thank you for supporting this Forum. It is YOUR Forum!
We all have one major thing in common, WE LOVE RONNIE AND HIS MUSIC! As Monday is the first Anniversary of Ronnie's death, the family has decided not to make any statements this first year as it is still very hard for all of us. I ask that you please respect the families wishes. Thank you!
Please feel free to use this thread to share your memories or send messages to Ronnie.. |

Dean, we shall all (of course) respect the wishes of Wendy and Ronnies Family......but I feel I must draw your attention the the fact that there is a whole section in the forum for leaving messages entitled 'InLoving Memory of Ronnie James Dio' and in order to keep the forum tidy I would suggest people leave their tributes there, after all thats what the section was set up for!!

On the night of October 30th 2004 I was meeting up with some friends for a night of fun music and laughter, little did I know I'd be making new friends this night. Friends that would change my life forever.
Thanks to Ed Kelley for the gift of a lifetime.
On this night I met Ronnie James Dio and the lovely Wendy Dio. What ensued was a friendship of a lifetime one that I will cherish forever.
On this night I also met Dean Schachtel and because of Dean I was able to say good bye to my dear friend Ronnie.
Dean THANK YOU!
Ronnie, I know your up there watching over us. I just want to say I love you and always will love you, you won me over with your kind gentle ways. Each time you saw me, you made sure I was okay and taken care of not many do that.
And for that I THANK YOU!
Wendy I hope we meet again one day. I would love to give you a bear hug like Ronnie did me...
It's been one year ago today I woke up to read those dreaded words... Legendary lead singer Ronnie James Dio has died...
A year ago today the Metal world lost an icon, a friend, a family member. You will never be forgotten.
