Well I have this rough mix, found them on a bootleg site. I'm not too sure about the policy regarding those so I won't post the link but I think you can find several sites with that one.

I think the deluxe version is out soon 19th or 25th Oct depending on which site you view and that will contain the rough mixes..........

I read somewhere the deluxe editions are postponed to somtime in 2011...
Hope not, want them NOW, especially the Rising deluxe edition..... |

A Deluxe version?? EVEN Better. I will wait. I got several Sabbath and DIO new releases to tide me over until then.

To Me folks Rising Will Always Be The Ultimate Main Classic Rainbow album of all time , Starglazer is also a belter of a song aswell folks .

Ok, only about a week to release of the deluxe edition.. I'm SO looking forward to this... I have had this rough mix on bootleg for a long time... but it's great they finally are released on this deluxe edition of Rising...
What a treat... 3 versions of the same album on the same release.. GREAT!!
Hopefully they will consider doing the same with Long Live Rock'n'Roll, as there also are some rough mix versions floating around from that album, with an alternate version of Rainbow Eyes as the most interesting highlight.. Sadly there is no rough mix version of Gates.. floating around..
As regards to the first album I have never heard about any rough mixes or alternate versions around, but it would have been great, as I love hearing different take of this great song.. |
