Just to let you know, folks are laughing and disgusted by all the merchandising going on now that Ronnies is gone, many folks are deleting the Facebook page because they feel the are being spammed with merch sale crap. I myself am one of them. I mean a Dio baseball??? wtf?

I got agree with you Bob
I only buy merchandising when a band is on tour, too be honest the only merchandising I buy, every month has nothing to do with music and its sports stuff from Arsenal to Ferrari and is branded by Nike.
I wish that bands did what football clubs did, take Arsenal FC, they only change their home strip every 18 months, retails for about £50, which is made by Nike, Arsenal then put sponsorship on shirt, which is worth about £100 million for 8 years, they also have an away strip and third strip, I buy them as well, I have never understood why bands have not moved into the same market.
Arsenal sell from 800,000 to Million shirts every year, Iron Maiden have been selling football shirts for a few years now.There was even a shirt that had Steve Harris' school team colours.  |

For me its the fact that not one update on merch when he was with us. Now, we are hammered with it, I can understand some shirts and cds in his honor but baseballs??? Hmmmm maybe a bobblehead doll?? I know, how bout a girls halter top with two words, one on each boob that says...we rock.
