Yes their advertising is rediculous. All in quest of all the money Gene can get his hands on. Yet I still respect the band. They were the hardest working band back in the day, great theatrics, and good music to boot. Just seems Gene has gotten quite greedy.

I guess maybe it's because I didn't grow up during that whole KISS mania thing, so I just don't see it. I really can't respect them.
