Try and match up a song and photo of your choice.
That gives them something in common...but try not to post anything that could upset.
No images of dead bodies or porn.

Ugh. That picture. I get bent out of shape seeing authority go after people.
Look at them, all dressed up in militant riot gear, chasing after unarmed helpless people. Fascism is puke in any form.
'another institution, where crazy people play.'
Love that song. I gotta put Strange Highways in the cd player. _________________ "Too many flames, with too much to burn, and life's only made of paper." - RJD |

I don't get it. When I click the link, all I get is the song "Strange Highways" playing to a video someone put together of pictures.
Is there something I am missing? I thought there was a choice of pictures or images to put to music.

Now, I see the picture up. Didn't show up before. Wondered where the picture was of the riot gear. Don't know why it didn't show up before.

The picture is from The Battle of Orgreave google it.
It was the battle of 6,000 striking coal miners v 8000 policemen, many of them not trained for riots. There is rumours some the policemen were really soldiers in the blue uniform
Dire Straits wrote a song about it called Iron Hand
The charge of the heavy brigade

The song reminds of the madness back then, I know DIO never wrote the song for this but the song and the events take me back to that time.
My Grandfather was a coal miner. |
