I remember seeing the close up photos a little while back and being shocked at how much it looked like Ronnie. When the final version is done, I'd love to see it in person.

It looks like a beautiful (and somehow fitting) place, the town/city where the monument is going to be, and who who's to say that we won't get to see it in person? I was pretty happy to hear that they were doing one at all. You sure as heck won't see something like this were I live. I also can't help but wonder, Ronnie was such a humble man, even though I heard that he wanted to work on a statue of himself, what would he think of this?
