In light of another disappointing Rock Hall nomination year (with Exception to Alice Cooper) I decide to start this topic to highlight some of the worlds Greatest Musicians, and their roots in Metal. Lets face it, if you are a young phenom, and you want to leave your mark on the world, there is only one Genre in music that will allow you to express yourself with no limitations. That Genre is Heavy Metal! We all view Ronnie as the Greatest Singer of our time, and he loved Metal. There are many others as well. this is a topic to show that Metal Musicians are the Greatest Musicians in the world.
I'll start with Jason Becker. What a Beautiful Musical Mind ! for anyone not familiar with him please watch this video, and then be prepared to start searching for more about him. He truly is amazing!
