any alter bridge fans out there?.

was listening to their 2nd cd "blackbird" today. great voice, good riffs, epic uplifting songs for the most part.

3rd album due pretty soon.

How are they doing a third album when they are back doing Creed again? just wondering, figure Alter Bridge was done

the 3rd record "AB III" is due out on 11th october with a british tour in october as well.

assuming it will get an american release , it's coming out on the roadrunner label over here. they do seem to be one of those bands who are bigger in europe than in their homeland for some reason.

not sure what's happening with Creed, never been into them to be honest, maybe they will get together early next year or something after alter bridge have done their stuff.

From what I read on the band's website, both bands will co-exist forever. They don't seem to feel a bond to one or the other. It must be a lot of work to have 2 successful bands to work in, never feeling like you get a break.

But maybe it is healthy for them, too. When they are tired of playing one band's songs, it's time to go to the other band and play those songs.
