I just need to thank you all for the posts and topics in here.

I would like to thank everyone, without you this forum would not be the same since Ronnie's passing.
Every single contribution, however small, I thank you for them all!
Keep up the good work, great posting and most important of all Ronnie James Dio has united us and lets keep this place positive for along time to come.

Sometimes I get frustrated when I check in and there aren't any new posts since I last checked in. Then I wait and check back, stilll no new posts. When Ronnie passed, there was so much activity here. Now, I guess of course, things have slowed down.

With Ronnie gone, I know there won't be as much to post as there was when he was here. So I am grateful that we have a family devoted to keeping his music and legacy alive and current. I try to do my part on the forum and in my life to keep his name and image on peoples minds. Difficult task at times.

Your welcome Holymagica, being here has opened my eyes to a lot of things I would have never seen or heard or understood before. Great stuff and I'm thankful this place is here so we can discuss the great RJD.

As soon as new material starts to surface (ie the Donington CDs) you can bet that things will pick up in here.

I am always checking in to see whats going on and I am really happy that this place is still alive and kicking - and thats the way I want it to stay for many many years to come.

I want to second that thanks to HM and to all the admins...this forum is a great place for fans. It was true before, and it remains true after Ronnie's death. We're all members of a sort of extended worldwide family, and that is really cool.

I'm glad for this forum (despite the fact my friends make fun of me for posting to it...idiots)...it's one place where I know I'll always fit in!

Of course in these modern times of networking sites etc, forums are a little old hat but they do serve a purpose and I feel there is a better community, lets face it who wants to be sharing there love not just of Ronnie James Dio but Heavy Metal in general with workmates. Confused

I know if I was to share my thoughts about the world and music in general my opinions could get me sacked from my job.
We all know managers and companies are now spying on workmates on these social networking sites, even copying pictures and using them as evidence in dismissal cases.
I believe a lot of networking sites are simply burdensome and really cruel,the reek of nothing of systematic oppression and are a breeding ground for the extremely foolish and insane.
One of the greatest things I like about this forum is folks sharing there stories about DIO's music.

What I love about this place is it frequented by true fans........whilst I differ from you HM in that I think Facebook serves a purpose seeing some of the stupidity that goes on there makes me appreciate this place even more.

Its a safe, friendly place to share our love of Ronnie and his music and I for one am going nowhere fast (sorry about that!)!
