Morning Wendy,

I am still in shock that I am two months late getting this news. I feel so terrible. My Heart and Thoughts are with you all.

When I first heard Ronnie it was on MTV in the early eighties, the song... "Rainbow in the Dark". From there I discovered all his past ventures. And enjoyed all his future ones as well. My very favorite album to this day is "Heaven and Hell". An absolute masterpiece. As if any of them were any less.

Your late husband was more of an inspiration to me than any words can express. I remember a concert at Market Square Arena (now "Market Square Gardens) in Indianapolis (my stommpin' grounds) when Dokken was the opener. I was angry about something, and so very excited to be at his show. I was sitting about mid-way up in the stands to his left. At the time I was around 13 - 14 years young and was singing SO loudly with the song being played that he actually pointed up to me and gave the "lower your voice" hand signal. I did. A little. Of course I sang with the rest of the set and lost my voice for three days. Oh, it was so very much more than worth it.

Another great experience I had was going to the Indianapolis State Fair Grounds to see the "Dehumanizer" tour. It was the one and only "true GA" concert I have ever attended. Things got crazy in there. I remember a guy being lifted and moved across the top of the crowd. He had on hiking boots and I got kicked in the head. Nothing serious of course. It was a great experience but one that kept me going to the sit down concerts.

Well, as the "subject" states... I am getting ready to blast my stereo with nothing but Dio songs for a few hours. (A small but WORTHY tribute) As I write this I am starting to tear up. I so wish I could have met the Man that got me through so many dark days. There are nowhere near enough, or even powerful enough, words to describe my admiration for him.

Hope you and your family are doing well. He will always be with us all in heart and soul. May we all find our "Sacred Hearts".

7/16/2010 - 11:40am... Just wanted to let you know that my tribute lasted until 1:30am this morning. Roughly 5 hours. And only played three different songs twice. Everyone enjoyed it. Even the ones that only knew 2 or 3 songs. I hope wherever we go, Ronnie could hear it. Cool

Hi Wendy

Just seen the youtube footage of your speech at the High Voltage Festival and I just wanted to say what a brave brave woman you are. I can see how much you are still hurting but the passion you have for the SUAS cancer fund is clear to see and I am proud to have made several donations and will make more when I have the spare cash to do so.

Ronnie would be so proud of this.

Hi Wendy

How are you? Been thinking about you and hope you are doing well. Thank you again for all your kind works. You are wonderful and we wish there were more people like you. Great work you do. We want to help with the Children of the Night and have been telling people about it so they will donate. The same with The Stand up and Shout cancer fund. We spread the word about them every chance we get. It is amazing how many people, young and old know who you and Ronnie are. They want to help in honor of you both.

My mom Loved Ronnie's song The Way of Love. We Love all of his music. But the one Lorina loves a lot is Dream On - Tribute to Aerosmith, with Iggy. Ronnie has a incrediable voice. He did it better than Aerosmith did. No offence Steven. But Ronnie blows everyone away when it comes to voice. The best ever.

We love you Wendy, and hope you are well. Take care and we hope to hear from you.

with all my regards to you & your family , my heart goes out to you wendy , but i would also like to say that your husband brought great joy to us fans around the world / as you already without a single shadow of a doubt - already know wendy , your husband was a true saint to us fans & a good strong heavy metal vocalist , he also lived for the fans , because that is what he enjoyed , but i dont really need to tell you all this wendy , because if anybody knew him better / it was you , he also was such a kind person , & he would always wave to his fans with The Devil Horns sign to warn off evil , i will never ever forget Ronnie for has long as i live aswell .
