My son and I had an interesting conversation about whether there were any unreleased songs that could be reworked by celebrity band members, and even took it a step farther with what if they reworked DIO classics with big name band members re-recording all the music parts. It would be the ultimate Ronnie collaboration album using his original vocals, but reworking the music. The idea came while listening to Sacred Heart and thinking How Kick Ass Zakk Wylde would sound on that song.
Just food for thought, but who would you like to here Ronnie sing with, and Why. To me sacred Heart fits into the ZW type of playing, and I think he could beef up the guitar a bit making it sound even better than the original with Viv. Just my opinion, but as of late I wouldnt mind hearing anyone else other than Viv on those classic albums.
Lets hear your choices for players to rework the classics, This is no disrespet to the guys who actually played with Ronnie, just a what if scenario _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Interesting concept.
Right now, I'll go with:
Rainbow in the Dark - George Lynch
Last in Line - Tony Iommi
Dream Evil - Jake E Lee
Evil Eyes - Yngwie Malmsteen
Push - Ritchie Blackmore
Heaven and Hell - Warren Dimartini
