Anyone else see the David Feinstein interview from a few years back posted by Manowar? Can someone make sense of this controversy? He says he wrote a song on his CD back in 2002 or 2004 with Dio in mind, I think he was hoping to get Elf back together sometime. And a song of his is supposed to be on the Manowar tribute to Dio CD.
All I can say is my opinion, I don't think Ronnie would want us to argue about his music, who enjoys it or for what reason. In his own words "Just enjoy it like nothing else. It's rock and roll, that 's what it's all about". RJD - Special from the Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA.
I mean no disrescpect to anyone, especially Ronnie or Wendy Dio.

To be honest, I am have no interest in this matter, I look at this way if Wendy Dio makes it clear in her statement...
Please do not be fooled by thinking they are doing this for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund, the money is going in their pockets and not to the Fund.
Why do anything like this without the blessing of Wendy Dio.
It reeks of opportunism, money and lacks respect not to just to Ronnie James Dio but to Wendy and the DIO fans.
The best thing Magic Circle Entertainment could do is give all the money they make from the cd towards the Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund.Of course I am expressing my views as DIO fan and not admin or anything to do with the Niji Group.
They always say there is no such thing as bad publicity but they are wrong , metal fans remember things like this when buying cds and concert tickets in future no matter how many posts the ''spin doctors'' post on blabbermouth its too late. |

I am just trying to make sense of it. I don't think I have even ever heard a Manowar song. I think they are heavy metal, but not my taste. And no matter what, if it means any disrespect to Ronnie or Wendy Dio, you can bet I am against it in any shape or form.
However they try to explain it, it just makes it look worse.

Don't see much interested from other members either.
Who cares what was said back in 2002.
