New here but have been a hardcore fan since '83/'84 when I bought Holy Diver on cassette and was completely blown away!!!
It's sad that it took Ronnie's passing to get me to sign up to the forums but I've really been a fan all along and have bought all the studio albums on the day they came out since The Last In Line and was lucky enough to see them on the Dream Evil tour and the Motorhead/Dio/Iron Maiden tour a few years ago and again on the Machine Head/Megadeth/Heaven & Hell tour a couple of years ago.
Hope everybody is hanging in there, it really hit home for me that Ronnie was the first true hero of mine to pass away. I'm still having a hard time with this, it makes me realize that we're all getting older and things like this are inevitable.
Ronnie was a true inspiration in that we really should all enjoy our time here while we still have it.
My condolences to Wendy and his family.
