They are both great versions of the song! being from Detroit, I love the Funky Soul of the StevieWonder version. However, Vaughn brings a whole different feel to the song, with incredible guitar. I really wouldnt say one is better than the other. It is one of the few times that a song can be done by two diiferent people, and also be a classic by both Very Happy

Killer band, I wish Tom Hess had stuck around, though. I also hope they do some more original material, too. Their cover of Rising Force is phenomenal.....

The only real negative thing I have to say is that I expected a more creative solo from Joe, have always dug his playing, and that was not a good example....

I posted this mainly becoz its good to hear a female singing this song for a change.I agree with you Joe Stump could have been more creative with the solo.
And you got to admit Maria Breon is pretty good.
Any idea what Tom Hess is up to?

Yep you heard me right, you'll be shocked how good they do with it.

Actually I agree with you, one of the best cover verions of Temple of the King that exists. Axel Rudi Pell has a good one too...

Tom left the band and now travels all over doing guitar clinics. He was here last November, but I could not attend due to work. He also has a guitar instruction website, but I would much rather see him back on stage where he belongs...

As for Maria, the girl has pipes. Clean, strong, and knows her limits.. Does not get any better than that...

I agree with a healthy number of what I've seen so far...but one I haven't seen mentioned yet:

White Lion: "Radar Love" ...much as a lotta people are quick to give W.L., the 'hair-band' tag...they absolutely gave this song a SERIOUS kick in the ass.
