Just wanted to say how saddened and shocked I was to hear the news. Will be greatly missed,he was one of the good ones.Condolences and sympathy to his family,my father lost his battle with cancer at the age of 48 so I know how tough this can be.Glad he was trying to fight it,sounds like him.
First time I heard/saw RJD was the Sacred Heart album/tour.Great stuff, couldn't get enough after that. He's as big as Oz or Lem in my opinion.I don't see how anybody couldn't like him.
There's no way I can afford to attend the service, but hope it goes well.Heard about the uninvited guests, despicable. Is anyone doing any kind of web transmission for those who can't afford to be there?
RIP RJD,man on the silver mountain will be missed, long live rock n roll! |
