Ronnie,
I first heard your voice back in 1983. Saw you perform in 1984, blew me away. With MTV, we got to see our musical idols on television. You were never seen falling down drunk, high, hurting women. You were a rock star that made me try to be a better person. That there was more to life if you put your heart and soul into being a smart, worthy person for yourself and others. You taught me to dream. Even though you were supposed to be scary and evil, I knew your heart was good.
I saw you last with Heaven and Hell, and you still put on a great show. I couldn't believe how long I had been loving you and your music. You taught me to be faithful to what you loved. No matter what popular opinion dictated. I am a better person because of you. You are the only singer that our 5 year old daughter knows by name. You will be missed by many. Thank you for your lessons throughout life. You have been a great teacher.
