Boy, this is a tough one, because many of Ronnie's strongest songs are album-openers. Many are worthy of this choice, but my personal fave is the Discovery/Magica Theme/Lord of the Last Day trilogy that kicks off MAGICA. I think it is perfect for the lead in to a concert and you can't really separate the 3 because of the actual connection between them.
As far as all DIO-related album-openers, I'd have to go with "Tarot Woman" from RISING followed closely by "Neon Knights" from HEAVEN AND HELL...

| I had to vote for Killing The Dragon although I love Wild One. That is just such an explosive track. Too bad that the rest of the LUTW album sucked... |

All Great songs, but Stand Up And Shout, set the standard for an opening song on a Dio album, so it gets my vote based on the first smack in the face from a solo Dio!!!!

I voted Stand Up and Shout. It's powerful, explosive, unifying...just classic Dio (of course). And the lyrics, to me, tell the world a lot about the band, their music, and their fans.

Went with Stand Up and Shout as it means the most to me all of the Dio songs and really sets the tone for what Dio is all about.
