I listened to the album today (as I was painting a new coffee mug with the H&H logo) and realized I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it. It also brought back memories from the Albuquerque, New Mexico, show last August! LOVE IT!
My favorite songs are Bible Black, Rock and Roll Angel, and Atom and Evil; Fear and Neverwhere are close behind those. But they are all good, and I wouldn't skip a single song on there. I absolutely love Tony's solo in Rock and Roll Angel. It is so good it makes my heart hurt. Gets me every time I hear it.
And Ronnie's voice is perfect on this album. I am certain there will never be anyone who compares to him in that regard.
Bottom line is, this album is really bloody good. _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |

The CD has been a stable in my car since its release and I still love the production.
Fav track is Fear - I just love everything about it!! but as FiddleQueen stated Rock N Roll Angel has the solo of the album on it......Bible Black will always be a favourite as it was the first track I heard and got me so excited for the album
I think the album stands up well - I am still enjoying it, still listening to it regularily and still want a follow up.....so all is good!!!! _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |

My 3 favs from TDYK are in no particular order:
Follow the Tears
Bible Black
Fear
and these just happened to be the 3 songs they played live during the last tour so that was an awesome treat for me. The audience was really into these songs too. |

The production is amazing on this Heaven and Hell album.
Follow the Tears is great. I love it when the break comes in and the melody changes.
Breaking in to Heaven is very interesting also.
Again, the production is amazing. Tony's guitar tone is mind numbing. The sound/tone of the whole album is delicious, perhaps better than Dehumanizer just regarding the tone. |
