Dear Wonderful Dio:
Just to send you much light and love.
Every time I think about all that wonderful world of imagination and music you have created, it makes me realize that you are very special. I love the way you speak about things and your elegance in thought and clear thinking. Vocal-wise it goes without saying.
And yes, even if you do not sing a single note during a concert and just stand there, we would just be very happy to see you!
Love, Light, and Recovery to You,
NyRa |

When I heard on That Metal Show that Dio was sick my heart sank. I didnt have access to a computer at that time, but as soon as i did I came strait to this page and signed up. I want to send Dio All my love and good thoughts I know he is going to make a full recovery. I have had the absolute pleasur of seeing him in concert 7 times and he blew my mind every time!! I all so got lucky enough to meet him twice! I have to say he is the nicest man ever and took time to speak with and give hugs and autographs to everyone waiting out side to meet him after the show. The rest of the band was also so nice. They gave out tons of picks and talked to everyone.
So Dio if you read this Thank you for years of great music!! Ive been listening to you since I was 14 and I am now 38. I still love you as much as the frist time i heard you sing. Be strong get well and give us more of the music we all love.
Your endless fan,
Jessica |

Hey there Ronnie and wendy!
Just wanted to share this with you....
I was talking with a childhood friend that still lives back in Minnesota, And we got around to talking about you when we were sharing memories. I took him to his very first "metal" concerts in his mid 20's, The second of which was when you played the Medina Ballroom in Medina Minnesota on the Angry Machines tour. I'm sure you remember that show, You were so pissed at the event staff because you actualy had to stop your performance when the crowd surge at the beginning of your set broke down the 2x4 "barrier" they had in place that couldn't have held back kids at a Barney concert, lol. You had to use your own equipment cases as a new barrier. Anyways.....You put on one of the greatest sets I've seen you do in the 9 times I've seen you over the years. After the show, my friend ran up to me DRENCHED in sweat, and screamed "Man, that was kick ass!!! He was louder than fu*king Slayer!!!" (the first show I took him to). After re-living that show, we went on to discussing your health and everything else present day, as we were talking he put on Lock up the wolves in the backround, I told him to turn it up a bit, and there we sat on the phone at 1am, wordless for 20 minutes, listening to you 2000 miles apart. My point to all this babbling? lol....is that many of us out here are with you everyday, around the clock.....Best wishes, and a speedy recovery to you......your in my thoughts, and heart as always....Robert |

Hey there Ronnie!
..or should I say "TV Star?" That was really a nice story they did on you. The camera seems to love you! Seriously, you look good. As handsome and cute as ever! Not at all like somebody battling cancer.
My hairdresser friend is very jealous of you...she lost all of her hair (she does see the humorous irony of that!) and you have all of yours!
Needless to say, I feel tons better seeing that story, and now, I don't worry about you as much. Well, OK...maybe!
Love ya!

Ronnie,
I have avoided this thread for awhile because it is too close to home for me. I have lost several family members to cancer to include my cat of 8 years, BB, to whom I watched waste away. I was with him when he passed. I can still see all there faces.
I love you Ronnie. You were there for me when I felt no hope. I was in love with a girl but afraid to talk to her and one night during a live fire I tried to end it. I obviously failed but I listened to you all the time and it pulled me out of my funk. That was 24 years ago. Thank you for being there. See you on the road.
Sincerely,

Hey there Ronnie!
...or should I say Golden God? Finally! Go you!
(Generally speaking, I've always thought that the people who nominate people for awards, or rank the 100 greatest whatever should have to take a competency test.)
Seriously, you looked really nice...it's really great to see you looking healthy and happy!
So now you can work on getting the Nobel Prize. Do they have one for Supreme Coolness?
Love ya!
