My New DIO CORVETTE

As some of you might know, I have recently bought a new 2010 Z16 Corvette in Black on Black & a 6 speed manual that will quickly get it to 190+ m.p.h.

I am fixing this up to be one of the fastest and best looking cars ever and one of my main appearance modifications is that I have a highly respected artist who is creating a painting on the inside of the hood on the liner that is over the engine. This is mostly for car shows or showing it off to my DIO FRIENDS at DIO Concerts

I have designed it similarly to the mirrored back lit stained glass creation I had made a few years ago but this one has far more detail. It is now at the final stage and I think it looks AWESOME, so unless someone has a suggestion that would enhance the project, this will be the final version and is what will be installed on the car shortly after I pick it up at the Corvette Museum....I'm thinking this is going to happen about mid March. Once in my possession I will have the liner added and then the next day I will be having the Escort 9500ci radar system and the Blinder's M47's laser jammers installed....and then get the windows blacked out.

As soon as I get it all completed, I will post some photos and hopefully some videos of it on the run

I'm still not quite sure what the first cd I play on that HOT sound system will be but so far I am leaning towards the Limited Edition HAMMERSMITH #315 that I own. Then I am going to take a LONG ride to get back home while burning up the rest of my favorite DIO rockers Twisted Evil

I plan to be doing some trippin around the country in this real soon and will be going to the H&H and hopefully DIO shows that are happening soon with it. Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you GREAT fans at some of the shows I am able to make it to see....so please come up and say HI

ANYWAY.....I would really appreciate what you think about this and if you have any idea to make it look even better???

What kind of affect will the heat from the engine have on the paint not to mention any grime and water that comes up from the street?

Got home from my Corvette delivery at The Corvette Museum early this morning. They took a photo of US together right after my personal 1 on 1 tour of the manufacturing plant. I have a bunch of photos from inside the building behind me where the Vette was on display all day til we took off the top and drove it here outside for this photo. I'll load them later when I get them out of the camera. No plant photos though as none are allowed nor are cell phones, but it was extremely interesting.

On the 17th I'll be getting window tinting and will show off the finished car then

OH YEA....I now have that engine liner of Rainbow Rising fitted there too and will have a couple good shots of it up soon too

I got all the window tint done yesterday

It needs a few sunny days to cure properly and then next Friday I have an appointment to get it properly detailed so then I'll post some proper photos

OK....FINALLY!!!

Got all the photos done and now have the new ones of the window tint that was just added.
These are the last 11 that start in my driveway and then finish up at the nearby park.

My camera made these huge so I had to reduce them considerably.
The main photos are all clickable to resize in a new window to a much larger but more detailed shot.

Won't be too long until I can go driving with the top off
