Interesting - nothing official from the Dio Camp as yet..............I would have hoped we would have heard first before it got out on the Net, although only Live Nation have any info about the shows being cancelled!

Lots of rumours suggesting Ronnie has been hospitalised, I hope they are all over-blown and that he is OK.

Ronnie - my thoughts are with you mate, get yourself well soon.

Damn, I'm really worried. I hope it's nothing more than the flu bug that is going around. Get well Ronnie.

It is worrying when you consider all the death bugs that are circulating at the moment!

But I'm sure he'll eventually shrug it off and be back to 100% quite soon!

Any news on this yet? I'm gutted. I thought this was too good to be true. Sad

Obviously my wishes go to Ronnie for a swift recovery.

I hate being negative but to cancel all of the shows it must be something more than just a flu bug. You know at Ronnie's age it be any number of things that I hate to think about. I hope we get some official news soon. My thoughts will be with Ronnie and his family, friends and fans.

This is just terrible news, I really hope he's alright.

I was really looking forward to seeing Dio next week, but now I'm just hoping he's okay and this isn't too serious.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Ronnie, Wendy and the rest of his friends and family.

Awwww nooooooo!!! Dammit! I've just had the same email. Before we all jump to conclusions, can I point out that it doesn't actually say who is ill - do we even know that it's Ronnie? Or is it someone else in the band, or even a family member? Best wishes to whoever it is. Olivious, can you share any of those rumours?

I'm really gutted about this, had a ticket for Glasgow. So on Saturday night I'm going to get the kids off to bed, leave the wife to watch people dancing and singing on tv, go out to my office, plug in my guitar and jam along to my own Dio set list at concert volume. If you open your Edinburgh-facing windows at 9pm you might just hear me. Although the gig's cancelled I'll be there in spirit.

You know how there's always somebody in a worse position than you? Lets spare a thought for Non. I really hope you haven't booked flights from Japan especially for these gigs...

Indeed Holymagica.......I found the information on a site before Blabbermouth confirmed the statement from Wendy - thats all I know.

No intent meant to cause speculation, just sharing what I found on the web.

As stated previously my thoughts are with Ronnie and I wish him a speedy recovery from whatever he is affected by.

Hopefully there will be more news in due course.
