I got an e-ticket and printed out the paper with bar cord.
And I need to bring a credit card for scanning.
I'm a bit worried about an e-ticket. _________________ ☆Tell me lies as long as it's not about love☆ |

Hi everyone - I just found out about the tour by accident last Saturday. The wife was watching "celebrities" dancing on tv, and I couldn't find any sharp objects or rope so I thought I'd have a look at the Dio site for the first time since the H&H tour. Nearly hit the roof when I heard about the tour. Got my ticket for Glasgow, £20 + £4.75 service fee. I chose the e-ticket option so I could print it myself, just in case the Royal Mail decide to strike.
HolyMagica, that was great seeing the old tickets, it brought back some great memories. I was considered too young to be allowed to go a gig in Glasgow in 83, so that 84 Playhouse gig was my first chance to see Dio. I was upstairs in the circle. I doubt you'll remember Ronnie putting a spotlight on a flag and thanking the owner, but that was me (and a couple of friends who suddenly wanted to share the glory). I've still got a bootleg tape of the gig somewhere, and it's so embarrassing to hear it now! The fact that I made and took a flag to the gig shows that I was already a big fan, but that sealed it for me and 25 years later they're still my fave band. We queued for ages but managed to get front row seats for the Sacred Heart tour. My singed eyebrows have just about grown back...
See you down the front in Glasgow!
S.
PS: Don't worry Non, I used an e-ticket at a gig last year with no probs - they just scan the bar code. |

Hello Stu....
I was at that gig
But I was downstairs in the stalls and becoz of the nature of the venue. You don't see whats happening above you if you are not in the front rows. The Playhouse was a great venue for concerts.
I have lost count of the amount times...I have camped out on the street the day before tickets went on sale at the Playhouse
What I like most about the Glasgow Academy, its like what the Playhouse was like back in the 80s.
Even the beer tastes just as bad in the plastic cups |

Thanks, stu!
I am coming from far far East of Tokyo.
So I'm bit nervous.
I really look forward to the show _________________ ☆Tell me lies as long as it's not about love☆ |

I'm still waiting for my tickets for Manchester. Haven't even been dispatched yet. it's the same with some wrestling tickets I've ordered for Liverpool. I prefer them to send them straight away, what with the post as it is right now. The strikes co-incide with the estimated dispatch date Having said that, there are other mail carriers they can use. And if I don't get them, I will be making many an angry phone call. And sobbing in the corner
