I will go to London for definite and maybe Birmingham and or Bristol. This is the best news of the year for me....even more so than the TDYK being released. Dio is much more accessible when he is doing his own thing than he is with H&H and a greatest hits show will be awsome............I will sort a new post on that subject!!

I was told that raising the issue of a lack of a Newcastle date here was in fact a good idea, now I damn well hope its read. Unless I can knock myself out on the trip to one of these gigs its fine either way.
I don't LIKE traveling for long but for the sake of seeing Dio I'd risk it again.
I expect them to bake me a god damn cake... |

i just ordered my tickets for sheffield, birmingham and bristol 2 tickets for each venue. tickets were £20 each plus £20.25 SERVICE FEE!.
to stick 6 tickets in 1 envelope and lick a stamp
that sounds more like getting shafted than any form of service.
am i getting old and grumpy or do i have a point? |

Look at the price for a ticket for a Premiership game anything from £37 to £55...sometimes even more 
And this is every week nearly...its not like we get to see DIO every week now is it. |

but its not that i'm complaining about paying £20 to see Dio at all. it will cost me more to park the car in birmingham.
its the £20 odd for some YTS on £3.00 an hour to put the tickets in a envelope and send. if the tickets were £200 i wouldn't bat an eyelid. but this rip off fee that sums up the true nature of rip off britain |

I think £20 is cheap ...I think it was £33 and more to see Whitesnake and it was not worth the money, the last time...I saw them.I am just looking forward to a wonderful night in Glasgow. |

Have you ever stopped to think that possibly any suitable venue in the Newcastle venue was unavailable during the time Dio was looking to tour?? It could be a simple as that, rather than a case of "The fuck are playing that town again!!!"

Gotta agree with the point over booking fees. When I book tickets to watch Leeds I get charged £1 per ticket for booking 2 tickets online. Both tickets arrive in the same envelope. Yes, I can understand it takes an individual or two to process putting the tickets into the envelope, yadda yadda yadda, but a booking fee should be applied per booking not per ticket
Short of launching a Peoples Revolution, I can't see any way around this shitty deal. If I come up with an idea, I'll canvas opinion on here before marching down Whitehall with my AK47 locked and loaded.

there is a way
for all acts to sell their own tickets on line so the fans get 1st chance of the tickets. the structure is there (you are looking at it)
i just checked the main dio site the dates still aint up on there. so in theory any hard core dio fan could miss out cos the tickets could sell out before they put the dates up.
i'm not one to poke holes and pick faults in dio the man or dio the band. but dio the buisiness is not very sharp |

Dolwen is right - I bought 2 for Manchester and paid over £12 in processing fees etc. Not earning a lot right now, and November is gonna be expensive! Seeing WWE in Liverpool on the 8th, Alice Cooper on the 24th, Dio on the 27th both in Manchester, Dragonforce inPreston on the 28th, and then back to Manchester on December 11th for Hawkwind and Arthur Brown. I'm gonna be totally broke! I dread to think how much went on processing, booking etc for that little lot  Just to clarify though, £20 for Dio is perfectly warranted, and I'm happy to pay it!

Did you folks ever camp out all night,sometimes 2 days before tickets when on sale....well I did many times...sometimes in the rain and snow 
Sorry but I would rather pay a service charge than go back to the camping outside the ticket office |

Can't say I ever did HM!!
I have no objection to a handling/service chrage but some of the amount are bordering on extortion. As I said earlier, a charge per booking of say £5 would be reasonable, rather than per ticket.
