Fuck...
ANOTHER BAND that's skipping newcastle.
I'm getting sick and tired of having to go to Scotland, Manchester, Leeds or wherever to see one of my favourite bands.
If income from ticket sales mean that much to a band then what ever happened to the meaning of the music?
They played an amazing show here in 2007 and if they are skipping Newcastle I will go see them wherever but to have to stay in a car for 2+ hours is torture.
I went to see Priest in Glasgow in february, 3 hour drive and I was half dead from fatigue and boredom in the car.
Please add Newcastle. |

I feel your pain, too. Dio hasn't even been in the US since I became a fan not all that long ago. Heaven & Hell have toured, and I've had the good fortune to see them twice--but both times I had to drive for more than 5 hours to get to the show. It's not fun having to make the trek, but it's worth it!
I have to keep hoping for the guys to do a US tour sometime soon! _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |

i was under the impression that the winter tour of the uk was to be heaven and hell. don't get me wrong i'm really chuffed to bits its a dio tour.
does this mean there is a breakdown in the heaven and hell camp? i do hope so they've all stabbed ronnie in the back at one time or another. He carried them all through the last tour of the uk.
long live dio the band, dio the man and ROCK AND ROLL !
i suppose a new album to co-inside with the tour is too much to ask.

I am so there!! This is great news........it could fit in nicely that we get Dio in November and H&H in Feb........that would be good news.
I am on the case to get friends and family to buy me a ticket or two to the shows as 40th birthday presents.......its on Tuesday which is a while before the dates but lets get the tickets in the back pocket!! _________________ Stand up and Shout!!!!! |

Tony Iommi needs to have his hand operation and as the UK only got the one Heaven and Hell date this summer.
I think this is DIO's way of saying he has not forgot about us!
I don't have to tell you how loyal the UK fans have been through the years. |

Yes the uk fans have taken Ronnie to be one of our own.
if only Tony, Geezer and Vinnie had shown such loyalty : (
Its great that the boys in the Dio band have hung around not doing much of joining bands on a short term basis (like Craig with Budgie). that is loyalty. i'd like to see such dedication rewarded by a new Dio studio album and live DVD (with Craig on it this time). the current line up is a whos who of rock music with players who would be on anybodys wish list to rock with.
i'll be going to Sheffield, london and bristol. Only those 3 cos it just happens i'm on tour myself so they are the only dates i can go |
