...WTF are you guys talking about?..."the masses"... ...this is the Heaven & Hell news... |
If H.M choices to uproot theses last few pages that we have smuttied up the Heaven and Hell thread and plant em in a new thread, that would be good. I have more to say about PETA and their tactics which is the concern. The issue isn't about the sharing or lack of opinions or even BBQs. |

Carry on with your thoughts and this debate in a new topic, if you want to go off topic.
Geezer Butler makes some good points and I am totally against puppy and kitten farms myself.
No decent breeder should be allowed to sell animals to a shop.
It should never be a case of handing over your money and taking whatever pet you want.
I have 2 pedigree Cats...it was a very long process.
Before even meeting the breeder...I spoke with my vet on what I should be looking out for.
Once I was happy with the cats environment, the breeder then checked out my home...I had to sign a contract and with the help from the registration of pedigree cats in the UK, I checked out the breeder.
I have 2 Norwegian Forest Cats 1 of them is 3 years old and the other 2 years old. There welfare was very important and the following day my vet gave the cat a full general health check up and checked up on the breeder's own vet.
I don't see how a shop can go through this process when pure profit is the main thing and not the animals welfare.
I still keep in touch with the breeder.
As for Meat...I am not a Vegan and it does not matter what Geezer Butler says...I will still choose to eat meat.
There is loads of meat I choose not to eat simply becoz I don't believe in way it is farmed and nothing to do with what Peta says.
But I do take notice of what of RSPCA[Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals] does and says.
There objective in farming is about the welfare issues surrounding certain animals.Because of concerns about the welfare of chickens they have worked with the farmers and the supermarkets, the RSPCA challenged all British supermarkets to be the first to only stock higher welfare chicken by 2010.
Already there is chickens for sale in many supermarkets with the Welfare Choice label.
We can't make people change from meat to non meat just like that but we can make people change their shopping habits.
We can demand more and more food with the Welfare Choice label...this means that the supermarkets have to work with meat not import, this is good for local farmers.
This will put an end to cheap imported meat and better treatment of farm animals.Yes I choose to eat meat but I also choose only eat meat from local farmers, that are inspected by the RSPCA. |

Bloody Hell!! I hope Tony gets well during his time off until the Athens and Wacken(going there) gigs
Blabbermouth:
| Quote: |
| According to Sergi Ramos of The Metal Circus, HEAVEN & HELL was forced to cancel its appearance Sunday night (June 21) at the Metalway Festival in Zaragoza, Spain due to back pain suffered by guitarist Tony Iommi. Ramos tells BLABBERMOUTH.NET, "The stage was already set with all [HEAVEN & HELL's] gear and backline, and after a 45-minute delay in the showstart, an ambulance was called to the backstage area and the techs started dismantling their stage gear. There was a big confusion for about half an hour, and afterwards a member of the organization [came up on stage and] explained what happened to Tony, telling [the crowd] that the show wasn't cancelled yet [and] that a doctor was trying to determine whether he could go on or not. After a few minutes, while the next band [SAXON] was setting up their stage gear, Ronnie James Dio, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice appeared on stage [see photo below] to adressed the issue in front of the crowd. Ronnie kneeled on stage as if to say 'sorry' and proceeded to tell the crowd that the show could not go on due to Tony's back problem and that they would make it up at another time and place when it's possible. Ronnie even sang a bit of the chorus section of 'Heaven And Hell' for the audience. GOD FORBID, who were casually in the backstage area with their friends OPETH, stepped in to play a show after SAXON finished its set." |

As far as I know no other shows have been said to be canceled |
Toulouse was cancelled for bad sales, Paris went on to be played, so Tony seems to have recovered well! |

Geezer Butler has issued the following statement regarding the passing of pop music legend Michael Jackson, who died yesterday (Thursday, June 25) at age 50:
"Saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of Michael Jackson. He truly was, and always will be, a true icon. 'Thriller' was one of the greatest pop masterpieces of all time. A sad day for our world. R.I.P."
*If you want to talk about Michael Jackson please take it to General music...I am just posting what Geezer Butler said.
Thank you. |

I don't think Tonny had pain in his back. He was moving more than expected. _________________ Stargazer! |
