| I'd like the new album of Dio to be made in his classic style. I mean without computerized addings and so on. It would be better a combination of faster songs with slower ones. |

Definitely Magica 2!
Magica is the best DIO album of the past 20 years (since Dream Evil).
Not because of the concept, but because it was varied with a lot of great songs like Lord Of The Last Day, Fever Dreams, Eriel, Challis, As Long As It's Not About Love and Otherworld.

Agreed on Dream Evil's guitar work. I have nothing against Goldy, but to my ears his Dream Evil playing was messy. Magica carried a better tone, sound, and overall licks. If I listen to Magica, then go back and listen to DE, it's hard to reckon it's the same guitarist. |
