Good man berserkur for the clips... |
I was hesitant about posting them, I thought you as administrator were required to delete them ( copyright claim.. not released yet yadayada..) |
Do you know how many clips are on Youtube
The rules are really about unauthorized sites for transfers of files etc.
I really believe that having Youtube stops alot of folks from seeking out downloads...youtube is a great advert for buying the cds.
I don't know how many times...I have went there first to listen to a new release from a band and most of the time...I ended up at Amazon and pre-ordering the cd straight after. |

You are right HM streaming is the best way to combat piracy. If you dont want to buy it, its still available to listen to any time you want. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

Hi,
well for sure the band wanted the leaks to happen, or? I mean, they sent the mp3 to a lot (a lot) of people, saying "keep it quite", so each of these guys sent to 2 or 3 trusted friends saying "only for you" and so on and so forth. The band knew this would happen, also that otherwise, on official release after 10 mins it would be in the net anyway so pirates would donwload anyway; with these planned leaks, the band generated buzz and excitement, so it's a win-win situation for fans (who anyway will buy the official release) and band. And the pirates will be pirates no matter what.
What I don't understand is self-proclaimed "fans" saying they will not buy it! |

Well if these so called fans are not buying it...then they are not really fans if you ask me and nothing more than the great unwashed,Chav loving bloody hood rats Numpties
And if they are not buying becoz of a review they are really are fools.I don't know how many times...I have bought a cd from artist and thought it was amazing then later read bad reviews and I am left thinking...are they listening to the same as me.
I know for a fact that many reviewers in the media...don't even listen to the product. |

This is exactly right. WTF is so different with the radio broadcast? I mean music has been broadcast over the air waves for 100 years. No one complained about piracy then and now. People listen(ed) then bought.
mp3 have hissing noise because the bit rate is usually lower compared to the CD you buy at the store. The hissing noise are holes in the music like swiss cheese. It actually is irritating because if it's too low it bits, it's too many for the ear to deal with. So actually, the radio has an advantage because although there is static, the sound is all natural (analog) higher quality of sound. Either way people buy from the store because they are after the higher quality of sound. |
