I wont try & narrow this down to a "favorite Album" , yet "Lock Up the Wolves" is probably Ronnie's best vocal performance out of all the DIO albums IMO...I certainly prefer Rowan's tone/groove to Vivian's "Trebley" sound, & even what frequently seemed to be rushed or lacking emotion on the Guitar. But Viv, he was fast ...Magica would be a close runner up No Doubt! _________________ ...As long as it's NOT about love... |

| Last in line, and I would buy it again if they would release a remaster. For some reason it's the worst sounding Dio CD I own--and I own them all. |

| The best Dio album is Holy Diver, but my personal favorite is Angry Machines. It is raw, underappreciated and I never get sick of listening to it. Strange Highways would be a close second. |

1.The Last in Line(If You don't agree, You should "eat your heart out", spend"one night in the city", feel the "breathless", see "evil Eyes", discover the "mystery" and then you'll know that "The last in line" rocks!!)
2.Holy Diver(HEAVY METAL CLASSIC OF ALL TIME)
3.Lock up the wolves( misunderstood album, and perfect one imo)
4. Master of the moon
5.Strange Highways(Heavy stuff!!!)
What do you think about my list?? _________________ So live for today

My personal favorite is Lock Up the Wolves, since it's all of Dio in moderation - you get dreamy tunes, you also get pounding riffs. When I say to myself "I'm in the mood to listen to Dio", the first song I play is almost always off LUtW (if not the entire album).
It certainly depends on my mood and the effect I'm looking for. Goes for any band, really... |

My favorite albums is.... oooo, my God, all of them!
OK... My favorite album is "Lock Up The Wolves" - just great!... The second is "Magica"! Very nice are "Dream Evil" and "Master Of The Moon"!... I think that everyone has something special when says "This is my favorite...!"... The most important is... people, this is Dio, that's why the albums are great! _________________ Yes, I am giant, I'm a monster

My favorite is Master of the Moon, no doubt. Not to say I don't love all the other albums, too. There's just something particularly magical about MOTM for me. _________________ "You'll never make me be like you. I'm Master of the Moon!" |
