Been a couple of years since my past posts so,hi HM,nice to see you are keeping up the site.
I saw tthe interview on blabbermouth yesterday and. there are some really good questions from the interviewer.
A couple of Ronnies answers seemed at odds with each other though to a critical thinker such as myself so please arrange for the great man to come on here and clarify
Section 1 .... 4:11 Ronnie does not believe in heaven or Hell God and Devil and he further states here isn't anyone "up there saying he screwed up today". Then, in the 4th section 3:30 onwards he mentions that during the recording of 'Long Live' they rose (from where did it rise?) an evil spirit named Baal that carried out all manner of supernatural activities, including pushing Wendy Dio down the stairs!
It made me wonder how Ronnie is able to completely discount the existence of heaven or hell after having an actual encounter with an evil spirit himself. Also, if he can accept spirits, why not a supreme spirit ie a God? _________________ The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win you are still a rat. |

Thank you for post the Eric Blair interview with Ronnie James Dio the interview was awesome. The interview was very informative. I loved the part about the spirit Baal. I had always wondered what the meant on the album "no thanks to Baal" then when I saw the interview with Eric Blair I understood why that was put on the album. Again thanks for the posting. _________________ If you wish hard enough you might be surprised what awaits you at the end of the rainbow! |
