I'm a recent fan! Gotta love some of those songs - Gimme Shelter is amazing! I have the new live album (the Martin Scorcese thing) and it's really good.

I love the Stones.
Love their loose, blusey rockin sound. Love the way they have managed to get other influences into their music (soul, funk, disco etc) but have never lost their trademark riffiness.
I have seen them 5 times and they never fail to entertain.
Last time I saw them (August 2007) I reckoned it would be the last time. Now I'm not so sure, I reckon there is another great album and tour in them yet! |

Some of the early Stones was magic. I used to
hate "Satisfaction" but when you see it being
used briefly in the movie "Apocalypse Now" the
power of the guitar compels you.
