Hi guys, please will you allow me to share this story? My sister was diagnosed with bone cancer in January 2007.She was totally into metal and loved Ronnies' music. All through last year she was having treatment and when I saw Dio was playing in London on November 10 I got tickets for her and me as she was getting better.I then sent an email explaining all about her and how amazingly brave she was and asking if she could meet him.I recieved a message back from Wendy Dio saying we had got backstage passes. We never got to the concert as she fell ill and was in hospital with complications. She died on sunday morning,November 18th 2007. I sent another email to Wendy telling her what had happened and got a reply back within hours saying how sad Ronnie and Wendy were to hear this news. What lovely, kind people they are.At my sisters' funeral we played Dream On,her favourite track. It will be the first anniversary of her leaving us in a couple of days time. Please would anyone reading this spare a thought or prayer to a beautiful fallen angel and if you play Dream On for her that would be perfect.Thank you. xxxxx _________________ Rock'n'roll queen |

It is a tough thing to lose someone, especially prematurely. My heart goes out to you. _________________ Check out Al Diamond Phillips/Nevermet on the web

God bless you and your sister.
I'm sure she is rocking out to the heavenly choir, and watching Jimi, Janis, Freddie, Jaco, Jim Morrison, Moonie and all the greats jam for eternity.
Or maybe she's helping put the dew on a grassy hilltop in Ireland. _________________ Bass guitarists hold it all together. |
