Publicity stunt? We shall see....
But still....being one of two Beatles remaining alive comes with a certain amount of responsibilty....there was an opportunity to fade into obscurity whent the Beatles broke up. I get that fame is a pain in the @$$ with everybody wanting a piece of you....but that comes with the territory.

He's probably tired of getting so much f**in mail after 40 years!!!
He didn't say he wouldn't sign any more autographs, he just said he didn't have the time to respond to post anymore.
I can't blame him - the poor guy needs a break. What's more important is that he keeps playing and putting our records.
I could give a toss if he responds to fanmail anymore.
Plus he did it for Marge Simpon!!! Could it get any better!
