I wouldnt go that far, but it is a very nice version of the song, with a vocal performance that doesnt make you miss the original. I like it Very Happy

Man I can't help it...I have just loads of respect for Bernie Marsden and I have always liked his vocals.
Fact I buy more Bernie Marsden cds these days than anything that comes from the Whitesnake label unless it has Marsden on it.
Like the ''slide it in'' 25th anniversary cd Laughing
Lookout for this little gem...
Bernie Plays Rory
Marsden plays Rory Gallagher songs.

Very Cool! back in the early 90s when I was with Tryton, we covered Follow Me by Rory, he actually gave us permission, and only asked that if we made any money that we would send him his share. Most artist like that money up front. He was a very cool guy.

IRON MAIDEN's MCBRAIN, STEVE VAI, BERNIE MARSDEN Confirmed For GUITAR NATION FESTIVAL

http://www.guitarnation2010.com/

Steve Vai, IRON MAIDEN's Nicko McBrain, TOTO's Steve Lukather and ex-WHITESNAKE guitarist Bernie Marsden are among the musicians who will take part in Guitar Nation Festival 2010, a two-day music festival of performances, demonstrations, seminars and cutting-edge debates for guitarists and musicians serious about music being held May 8-9, 2010 at the Olympia Conference Centre in London, England. It brings together the people who make the industry happen; world-class musicians, band managers, top producers, media professionals, music industry gurus and many more.
Guitar Nation will get musicians closer to music and its industry than ever before. A broad variety of master classes, tutorials, seminars, performances and forums are planned, covering a wide range of hard hitting topics in a fun, innovative and creative environment.
Some of the master classes and seminars already confirmed are:
* Steve Vai - Tells you his Alien Music Secrets
* IRON MAIDEN's Nicko McBrain - Touring the world with IRON MAIDEN
* TOTO's Steve Lukather - masterclass with Grammy-Award-winning guitarist
* Bernie Marsden - ex-WHITESNAKE guitarists killer blues workshop
The festival's mission is to empower musicians helping them make a living from music and improve their playing. Issues covered include making money as a songwriter, planning your first tour, how does publishing work to innovations in music technology; the depth and breadth of what you can learn will be truly invaluable.
Guitar Nation is a consumer festival giving the public seamless access to musicians and experts in a way they could only ever dream about.
