I know everyone here will appreciate this. This is the original painting done for the album back in '82. Here is a link to some photos before I have it framed. Though the pictures do not do the picture justice the images posted do show some of the detail. Does anybody know the whereabouts of the Smoking Angels or Mob Dream painting that were used for Heaven and hell & Mob Rules covers?

Haha... U look cool  And excellent pictures all those...
H&H album has a cool cover as it really shows angels which are from BOTH heaven & hell, and that's what makes the thing ingenious!

Mob Rules:
"It is rumoured that the cover art for this album, by famed artist Greg Hildebrandt, contains a heavily-disguised message that reads "KILL OZZY,". It is apparently located toward the bottom of the picture, on the ground, written in a dark, crimson colour. However, the message is barely legible, and it is widely believed that the purported text is coincidental. [1] The artwork was not created specifically for the album, for one thing, having been done in the 1970s, but was licensed for use."
Heaven And Hell:
"The album's cover art was taken from a painting by artist Lynn Curlee, entitled "Smoking Angels." Curlee was also commissioned to do an album cover for Blue Öyster Cult by Sandy Pearlman who was at the time manager of both Black Sabbath and Blue Öyster Cult."
