Taken from another thread, chance to actually show which album you prefer the best.

Most people will choose Rising, so I decided to give RBR a vote _________________

Well I have to go with Long Live Rock And Roll. While I do like the Man On The Silver Mountain alot...it's the only one I really care for on that album. I know alot of people like Sixteenth Century Greensleeves, I just never warmed up to it that much. However I really like every single song on Long Live Rock And Roll. They all rock and the title song...."I can hear it screaming though the air!" does just that.
When I first heard this song I ran to the music store the very next day (I heard it the night before so no chance the store was open then)...soon as it opened I was the first one in the door....only to find they were out of it . So I special ordered it cuz "I can hear it screamin' in my mind"...I had to wait 3-4 days...what agony cuz the whole time I can hear this song in my head "Like a sound that's everywhere" When I finally got it I played it over and over for like a week. Drove people crazy with it...and of course I had to play it on my guitar so that was another couple days.
What can I Say? This song is just too adicting to me cuz it says just how I feel about music. Every word of it rings true to me. Then I listened to the rest of the album and was like..."Wow, more great tunes!". So I had to play all of those over and over...man my poor neighbors...well you can prolly guess what I'm doing now _________________

I have to go with Rising,Dio's fantasy lyrics are my favorites and the four epic songs on that album are great tales, for anyone that likes doom metal,Swedish band Sorcerer did an excellent heavy rendition of Stargazer.......... _________________ Sword of Terraroth,fantasy/sci/fi with influences of Tolkien,Dungeons and Dragons,Grimms, mythology and the lyrics and concepts of metal bands,in particular the mystical words of Dio.The rainbow shines like magic in the dark of the midnight sky........ |
